Cuisinart

The busy professional have increasingly looked towards their multifunctional countertop ovens for its speed and ease of use.

This all-in-one Cuisinart Convection Oven features easy-to-use, state-of-the-art electronic touch controls and its stainless steel handle along with side grips give it a modern, commercial look. This oven sports four versatile cooking options with extra capacity to suit just about anything you can throw at it for everyday cooking. Practically, you can make it a convenient second oven for side dishes and desserts, and use your full size oven for much larger fare. This Cuisinart will be there for you whether you’re looking to prepare dinner for two, or a house full dinner party.

Clad in stainless steel with brushed chrome touches, the Cuisinart TOB-195 six slice convection toaster oven broiler is at once an attractive addition to your kitchen countertop, and a handy little appliance with an array of convenient features. Its generous 0.6-cubic foot capacity can handle a whole chicken, fish for the family, and can toast six slices of bread at a time. It easily accommodates a 12-inch pizza. This multifunctional countertop appliance provides you with four versatile cooking options: pizza/bake, broil, toast and convection. This convection countertop oven employs sophisticated technology to provide simple operation and includes up to six slice toasting button with bagel, reheat, and defrost buttons. It even gives you a clock and oven timers. The Cuisinart also sports an Always Even shade control, which in conjunction with its Exact Heat sensor, maintains oven temperature for better cooking. Cleanup is quick thanks to the low maintenance brushed chrome interior. The Cuisinart TOB-195 oven measures aproximately 16 by 18 by 10 inches and carries a three-year limited warranty.

Some of the features that owners have raved about include size, control location, audible alarm, digital temperature setting, convection oven feature and non-stick interior. A countertop oven that can accomodate a 12 inch pizza is going to go a long way with a lot of consumers. This Cuisinart locates its controls below the door which saves on countertop space. The alarm feature is great because it lets you know when the oven has reached the temperature you’re seeking. Speaking of temperature, the digital temperature setting is a useful addition in that it allows you to dial-in the exact temperature and not have to guess. The convection feature enables you to cut down on cooking time and it also ensures that heat is distributed throughout the oven chamber in an even manner. Finally, because there is this task called cleaning that must be performed once that cooking is done, it helps that the interior of this Cuisinart is designed to be easy to clean, allowing easy wiping so you don’t have to struggle with all the residue that’s left behind by your cooking.

The Cuisinart warms up to the desired temperature in only a few minutes which is extremely fast relative to regular ovens which take so much longer. You can expect to use your Cuisinart more often than not especially if you’re only preparing food for yourself or a small family. About the only time you’ll have to turn to your regular oven is when you have a huge party to entertain. In that scenario, you’re probably still going to call upon your Cuisinart to produce the side dishes to accompany your main meal.

Aesthetically, this oven his head and shoulders above the rest. Its stainless steel exterior lends it a professional modern and sophisticated look. It is devoid of cheap black or white plastic. The digital control pad along with the LCD display is a winner. The Cuisinart eschews manual, analog controls at a time when most countertop ovens come with manual control dials. And this is good for Cuisinart because frankly those manual control dials are so inaccurate and we should only see those when we fire up an old 80s movie. Nowadays, it’s not much to ask for a control pad that allows us to see exactly what we are dialing in. Admittedly, digital controls do falter from time to time, but so does the manual. In the end, a digital controller’s upside outweighs its potential drawbacks that it ends up being a no-brainer, really. Out with the analog controls!

Overall, owners are very pleased with their Cuisinart convection oven and have few complaints. Some lament the lack of an interior light. Some even complain that the crumb tray slides out through the back, rather than from the front. Also, although this is more of a wish rather than a complaint, some have suggested that the rack should automatically slide out when the door is opened. Ok, nice feature, but that’s being a bit lazy, isn’t it? Finally, some have noted that if you’re using the Cuisinart convection oven to toast just one piece of toast, then the regular toaster may be quicker at the task. But, if it’s a bagel you’re planning to toast, then the Cuisinart is the appliance to use.
